Mini Tramp

An hour of cardio on your own trampoline, in time with the music. All the burn of a high-impact class without your knees and ankles paying for it: the mat takes the hit.

What is Mini Tramp?

Mini Tramp is a group aerobic class done on an individual trampoline — one each, about the size of a step. The trainer builds sequences of bounces, jogs and steps that follow the music, and the class moves along without long pauses.

What makes it different is the physics of the mat. When you jump on the floor, all the impact of landing goes back into your knees and spine. On the trampoline, the fabric absorbs that energy: the muscle works just as hard — harder, in fact, because you have to brake and stabilise on every bounce — and the joint never takes the blow.

You don't need to know how to jump or have any experience. The basic bounce takes a couple of minutes to learn, and you choose the height and the speed yourself throughout the class.

It is the class people come out of laughing. That trains you too.

Who it is for

Starting from zeroThe basic bounce takes two minutes to learn and you set the intensity: higher, faster, or neither.
Cardio bores youIf the treadmill and the bike feel endless, this is the opposite: closer to dancing than to training.
Your knees complainIt is the way to do intense aerobic work without the impact of running or jumping on the floor.
You already trainIt works as cardio alongside your strength work, and trains the balance no machine gives you.

What Mini Tramp does for you

Kind to knees and ankles

The mat absorbs up to 80% of the impact of each landing. You train with the intensity of jumping and the joint wear of a walk.

Burns a lot, in little time

The continuous bounce keeps your heart rate high for the whole class: an hour does the work of rather more than an hour of traditional cardio.

Legs, glutes and abs

Every bounce is braked with the lower body and stabilised with the core. It is constant toning, even if it doesn't feel like it.

Balance and coordination

The unstable surface makes you correct your posture the whole time. You notice it outside the class: walking, climbing stairs, bending down.

Circulation and lymphatic system

The repeated vertical movement helps venous return. It is one of the best things there is for tired, swollen legs.

The hour flies

With the music going and the sequences changing, the hour disappears. It is the class people come back to because they want to, not because they have to.
